Privacy Policy
PowerNapTime is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated cloud service. This policy was last updated August 23, 2026.
Information stored on your devices
Nap times, wake reasons, ratings, optional notes, preferences, and active-session recovery data are stored locally on your iPhone or Apple Watch. This information is not transmitted to the developer. You can delete PowerNapTime nap history in the app under Settings and Your data. Removing the app also removes its local data, subject to normal device backup behavior controlled by Apple.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, PowerNapTime can read sleep analysis so it can show stage information and can write a completed nap when you enable that option. Health access is optional and controlled by Apple’s system permission screens. Health information is processed on your device and is not transmitted to the developer, used for advertising, sold, or shared with data brokers. Apple Health samples are managed separately in the Health app.
Microphone, motion, and heart rate
If you choose iPhone Smart Wake, microphone input is converted into short-lived numerical movement features on your iPhone. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. If you use Apple Watch Smart Wake, motion and optional fresh heart-rate samples are processed on the Watch during the final wake window. Those sensor readings are not transmitted to the developer.
Notifications and connectivity
PowerNapTime uses local notifications to deliver deadline alarms. The iPhone and Apple Watch exchange the active nap state through Apple’s Watch Connectivity system. PowerNapTime does not operate a server that receives this information.
Children, medical use, and changes
PowerNapTime is a general wellness utility, not a medical device. It does not diagnose conditions or provide medical advice. If this policy changes materially, the updated policy and effective date will be published on this page.
